The Division and each Member Club is governed by Officers and a Board of Directors. The Division is an integral part of BCA and is considered by the American Kennel Club (AKC) in the same way as it considers BCA. Each of the Member Clubs must either be a member or licensed club under the rules of the AKC.
Each Member Club of BCA must hold at least one specialty show each year and meet other mandatory requirements of the AKC regarding community outreach, public or judge’s education, rescue or other related activities.
