Division and Member Clubs


You must the Bulldog Club of america through the Division live in. The information on this page will tell you how to get and submit an application for BCA membership.
The BCA’s eight (8) Divisions each consider all applications from residents of their Division and accept or reject them at quarterly meetings. All applicants must be at least 18 years old and in good standing with the American Kennel Club. 
 
You can obtain an application from the Secretary of the Division you live in for the majority of the year. If you live in Division I, you can either 1) e-mail or write to the Division Secretary to obtain a hard copy of the application form or 2) you will be able to download a .pdf application from here or the BCA Web site in the near future.

If you do not live in Division I, go here to find out the Secretary of your Division. You must return the completed application to the correct Division Secretary.

Read through the application and the BCA Code of Ethics (on the back of the application). Then fill in the application and sign and date it (doing so signifies that you have read and agree to, the BCA Code of Ethics)
 
Have your sponsor fill in their portion and sign and date the application. BCA requires that a BCA member in good standing propose all applicants. The Division Board will not consider any application for membership not signed by a BCA member in good standing.
 
If you downloaded the .pdf file, make three copies of both pages after you and the sponsor have signed it. Make sure that your name as the applicant is filled out on both pages. Keep one for yourself and mail three to the Secretary of your Division.

Mail your completed and signed application back to your Division Secretary. If your application is for foreign membership, please mail it to the Division Secretary where your sponsor resides.

Include a check with your annual fees.
·        $30.00 per domestic (USA) member.
·        Foreign members $40.00 (US Dollars).
·      There is an additional mailing fee for members living outside the US: $10 for Canada and Mexico; $40 elsewhere.) Members receive the Bulldogger, the official BCA publication that is published quarterly.

If you are accepted, the Secretary will keep one, a second will go to the Division Treasurer and the third will be sent to the National Treasurer. If your membership is declined, your membership fee will be returned.
